History
Liquid Sports GmbH was founded in 2008 by former professional windsurfer Philip Horn and is entirely dedicated to watersports.
As an international distributor of top brands, the company, headquartered in Kiel, has grown steadily and has strengthened its market position and brand awareness year after year.
Windsurfing, surfing, kitesurfing, SUP and diving. The whole team lives watersports and spends every free minute on the water, testing the products extensively. Our goal is to offer the best possible advice and to keep improving development together with shapers and manufacturers.
As an experienced trading partner and sales agency, Liquid Sports GmbH offers a broad range of services with the highest level of customer satisfaction. Quality is a decision! That is why a competent and motivated team is on hand – not only in B2B – from sales and the entire logistics of the goods all the way to marketing.
Our aim is to develop the best concept in each case, individually and in close cooperation with our customers and partners, so that together we can work even more effectively at the highest level.

My name is Philip Horn and I co-founded the company in 2008. At the age of 13 I was allowed to use my parents’ windsurf board for the first time. I have been hooked on the sport ever since and have also proven my competitive ambition in races. Over time my range of watersports grew to include kiting, SUP and diving, and today I love that there is the right sport for every condition! I am very happy that a team has grown at Liquid Sports that shares this passion 100%.

Hi, my name is Yorck. My passion is diving. The fascination of the underwater world captured me as a small child and has never let go since. Later, as a diving instructor, I got to discover and marvel at the seven seas. I have been working at Liquid Sports since 2013 and am responsible for the XCEL Wetsuits dive range in Germany – and recently for all of Europe as well.

I’m Carolin and I have been part of the Liquid Sports team since 2018. Bringing work and hobby together has always been important to me. I’m the calm centre of the surf office – maybe because of my nature, or maybe because of my dog Oskar, who gets cuddled for minutes on end in stressful moments. I grew up right on the Baltic Sea and in 2012 discovered Kiel as my home port and fell in love with it.
